Year 1996 Classes were held at "Our Lady of the Lake University" In San Antonio, Tx. There were 100 participants during the empty hand form seminar; and 45 participants for the saber form seminar. Practitioners from Argentina, Bahamas, Canada and the USA joined the San Antonio practitioners for a week of study, fun and friendship.

Visiting The Blue Star:

Blue Star Art Complex, located in the King William Historical District in San Antonio, Texas is home to the BodyMind Centered Therapies and to the Yang ChengFu Tai chi Chuan Center- USA. It is located in the 1100 block of South Alamo (corner of Probandt). Visitors are welcome to watch and participate in the saturday morning practice session (7 to 9 am.)

During the week of the 1996 Seminar held at Our Lady of the Lake University, Master Yang takes time out of his rigorous schedule to honor his San Antonio students with a visit to the Saturday morning practice held at the Blue Star.   This unexpected visit was very special to Horacio and his students. They had been meeting for 10 years at this location faithfully practicing the form according to the standards that Master Yang and his father had set. To have Master Yang witness the hard work and dedication Horacio and his students put into their practice to uphold these standards was a very important moment in the history of the Center.   In this picture Master Yang and Horacio share observations about the Group's form practice during Master Yang's impromptu visit to the Blue Star "very early" Saturday morning Class.
